Already own an Ice Barrel? This is the chiller and bracket kit that turns it into a chilled plunge — no more ice runs, no tools required.

Penguin Chillers has been building water chilling equipment in Knoxville, Tennessee since long before cold plunging went mainstream. This package pairs their 7,500 BTU/hr Cold Therapy Chiller with the barrel-specific bracket, hoses and fittings needed to plumb it into a compatible Ice Barrel, so your plunge is cold and ready whenever you are.

Choose the kit that matches your barrel. The 300 / 500 kit and the 400 kit are not interchangeable — check which model you own before ordering.

What this is not

The Ice Barrel itself is not included. This listing is the Penguin cooling system and connection hardware only, sold to fit a barrel you already own. Ice Barrel is a separate brand and must be purchased separately.

Warranty

1 year limited manufacturer warranty is included as standard. A 2 or 3 year extension can be added above. Claims are handled directly by Penguin Chillers: (865) 214-6509 or support@penguinchillers.com.

Not covered: normal wear and tear, damage caused by freezing, improper installation, running the unit without a filter or with a filter finer than 50 microns, use with an ozone venturi, and any failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, use or care instructions.

Delivery

• Ships direct from Penguin Chillers in Knoxville, Tennessee.
• Delivered by parcel carrier — no freight appointment or unloading equipment needed.
• Inspect before you sign. If the packaging looks damaged you can still accept it — photograph it, note the damage on the delivery receipt, and contact us right away.

Before you order — installation limits

• Fits Ice Barrel 300, 400 and 500 only. Select the kit matching your barrel — they are not interchangeable.
• The pump is not self-priming. The chiller has to sit level with or below the bottom of the barrel so it gravity primes — never elevate it above the barrel.
• Place it within about 3 ft of the barrel drain wherever possible.
• Never run a filter rated below 50 microns, and do not use with an ozone venturi.
• Needs a standard 110–120V outlet. Rated for outdoor use above 32°F — below freezing, disconnect and drain completely.

Returns: This item can be returned within 21 days of delivery with prior authorization. A 20% restocking fee applies and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Custom-built units are non-returnable. Transit damage, missing parts and manufacturing defects are always covered and are handled through the warranty process set out in our Refund & Return Policy.
