Shipping Information
Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days, with delivery typically taking 5–15 business days after shipment. Sauna cabins and larger units are often made to order and may require additional lead time, which we'll confirm before you buy.
Large items ship by freight carrier, curbside delivery. Cabins frequently arrive on two or more pallets. The carrier will contact you to schedule an appointment, and someone must be present to receive and inspect the shipment. Curbside means the driver delivers to the end of your driveway — moving, unpacking, assembly, and installation are not included.
Inspect your shipment before signing. Count the pallets, note any damage on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact info@betterbackyardstore.com within 48 hours. Keep all packaging for up to 60 days in case the carrier needs to inspect it.
Delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or supplier lead times.

Return Information
Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery and approved in writing before any item is sent back — return addresses vary by supplier, and unauthorized returns may be refused or ineligible for refund.
Eligible products must be unused, uninstalled, unassembled, complete, and in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping, and approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%.
Custom, made-to-order, special-order, clearance, installed, assembled, or final-sale products may not be returnable.
Damaged, missing, or incorrect items must be reported to info@betterbackyardstore.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Penguin Chillers has been building water chilling equipment in Knoxville, Tennessee since long before cold plunging went mainstream. This package pairs their Cold Therapy Chiller with an insulated tub sized for it — the insulation cuts heat gain, which means less chiller runtime, colder water and a lower power bill than the same setup in a bare tub.
Warranty
1 year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Claims are handled directly by Penguin Chillers: (865) 214-6509 or support@penguinchillers.com.
Not covered: normal wear and tear, damage caused by freezing, improper installation, running the unit without a filter or with a filter finer than 50 microns, and any failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, use or care instructions.
Delivery
- Ships direct from Penguin Chillers in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a 5–7 business day lead time before it leaves the factory.
- The tub and chiller may arrive separately. At 90 lb for the tub and 49 lb for the chiller, neither needs special unloading equipment.
- Inspect before you sign. If the packaging looks damaged you can still accept it — photograph it, note the damage on the delivery receipt, and contact us right away.
Before you order — installation limits
- The pump is not self-priming. The chiller has to sit level with or below the bottom of the tub so it gravity primes — never elevate it above the tub.
- Place it within about 3 ft of the tub drain wherever possible.
- Run the pump continuously and keep the filter clean. Timers are not recommended — the start-stop cycling wears the system.
- Needs a standard 110–120V outlet. Rated for outdoor use above 32°F — below freezing, disconnect and drain completely.
- Set the tub on a level, solid surface rated for roughly 925 lb once filled.
Returns: This item can be returned within 21 days of delivery with prior authorization. A 20% restocking fee applies and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Custom-built units are non-returnable. Transit damage, missing parts and manufacturing defects are always covered and are handled through the warranty process set out in our Refund & Return Policy.
